What does "GIS-native" mean?
GIS-native means the software reads your geographic information system live rather than copying it. A GIS-native system stores only a reference to each map feature — its ObjectID and layer URL — and queries the source every time it needs an attribute. A copy-based system imports features into its own database on a sync schedule, which means the two can disagree between syncs.
Does CentricityIQ work with ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise?
Yes. CentricityIQ connects to ESRI Feature Services hosted in either ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise, and authenticates using your organization’s own ArcGIS accounts so existing permissions carry through.
Do we need a dedicated administrator to run it?
No. CentricityIQ is designed to be configured by the staff who use it. Work-order types, inspection checklists, statuses, and crews are changed with clicks rather than consulting hours, and the AI assistant can propose configuration from your existing documents and GIS layers.
What can the AI assistant actually do?
The IQ Assistant answers plain-English questions about live records ("how many work orders are overdue this month, and which crews?"), creates and assigns records from a sentence, performs bulk actions across many assets at once, and builds dashboards and reports on request. It also assists with initial system configuration.
Where is our data hosted and how is it secured?
CentricityIQ is hosted on Microsoft Azure, with data encrypted in transit and at rest. Each organization’s data is isolated at the data layer, and access is controlled by role-based permissions your administrators manage.
